Resort Operator


The Banyan Curve Water Chalets is managed and operated by The Legend Group of Hotels and Resorts, best known for the highly respected Legend Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the Grand Seasons Hotel in Kuala Lumpur and the renowned Legend Resort at Cherating Beach on Malaysia's east coast. The appointment of the Legend Group ensures that sound management will enhance the overall value of the project.


Guaranteed Rental


Annual Rental Return is estimated at 12.5% over the 15 year term. To receive this return you lease your property back to the developer. Even though you lease it back you will still get up to 10 days per year free use of the property out of peak season, and if you wish to use a property in the resort out of this time, you can do so at a discount of 50%!


After the first 15 years, you can extend the guaranteed return for a further ten years at a rate agreed by negotiation with the resort operator.


Mortgage Finance


A 60% mortgage is available through the developer. The mortgage rate is currently 6.75% but in the first year this is reduced to only 2.99%, with the rate being only 5.75% for the second and third years.


The stage payments can be made through this facility, meaning that clients only ever have to pay 30% of the total purchase prices (plus taxes) and the stage payment borrowing is on an interest only basis.




From 1 April 2007 the Malaysian government suspended all Capital Gains Tax for individuals.
